Program Overview

You Want Cooking has been successful in bringing the flavor of women's handicrafts to the market in previous years. The program seeks to empower grassroots women with training provided by entrepreneurial mentors and professional chefs to inspire them to start their own businesses and enhance their cooking skills, thereby enhancing their self-confidence and competitiveness. You want to cook will help them set up their own micro-brands at low risk, create their products, and become the "female cooks" of autonomous lives in the spotlight.

Ignite (啟發)

We will provide training courses for participants (“female cooks”) to inspire them to reflect on their roles and positions as family caregivers, and to imagine and recognize their own potential.

We hope to enhance the self-confidence of the “female cooks” during this stage, help them understand micro-entrepreneurship, and rethink their role as family caregivers and their life dreams. We also hope to further inspire them to build on their cooking strengths and gradually try to develop their own products, thereby improving their personal confidence and financial independence.

Ideate + Iterate

After receiving the initial idea of the "Girl Cooking Corner", we will invite mentors to further teach the basic knowledge about building a micro-brand, including cost calculation, marketing, food production, etc. As students continue to be exposed to new content in each class, "Girl Cooking Corner" will begin to gradually design and build its own micro-brand.

Implement (執行)

The "Female Cooking Corner" will summarise what it has learned, develop its own test plan, apply what it has learned, conduct tests and improve its products to meet market needs.

After the exhibition and selection of their achievements, the selected "female cooks" will enter the next stage and receive funding for material and packaging costs, as well as a production kitchen and transportation costs provided by You Want to Cook, so that they can start to create a micro-brand with low risk.
